This privately owned company is engaged in the growing, selection and packaging of fruits and vegetables. The company was established in June of 1988 and has its registered office in Los Montesinos, Alicante, Spain. It has also set up other locations, including Morocco and in Guadalupe Island (French Antilles). The company has developed, alongside its production of melons and lettuce crops intended for the first and fourth category of products in the European markets, including France, Germany, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Since its inception, it has kept on increasing its growth on this area of activity since it produces lettuces, escaroles, curly endives, young sprouts and herbs on more than 650 hectares. Its quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001 international quality standard. The company is one of the main supplier of products throughout the most important European salad processors. Its facilities take up a surface of approximately 8,000 square meters, including offices, quality control laboratory, picking house, cold-store room, a 400-meter phytosanitaries warehouse, and garages of 1,700 meters for its own farming machines. In order to offer its customers a better service, the company has set up a transport company with a large amount of refrigerated trucks called La Rellana S.L.
